I’ve been in personal development for some time now, and read countless books. Recently a friend of mine gave me this book and I was surprised I’d not come across it before.
Essentially this no-nonsense book gets straight to the point on all manner of how life works questions and topics that are ubiquitous in personal development. Effectively it’s the only book you really need to read, if you were strapped for time and wanted to get the gist of books like The Secret, Think and Grow Rich and How to Win Friends and Influence People – amongst many others.
It’s called How Life Works
The author, Andrew Matthews, writes in a style that is easy to read and could well be read by a child as well as educated adults alike.
In fact, I would recommend giving it to any children you know (probably from aged about 10 or so), as it will give them a big head start.
You’ll get through it in no time, and it covers all you really need to know about how life, and the universe (in regards to your personal journey through it) works.
How Life Works is about:
Why the same things keep happening to you
Why bills come in bunches
It is about:
How to find the love of your life
How to find the work you love
Why some people always fall on their feet – and how you can be like them.
How Life Works explains why:
It’s not WHAT you know
It’s not WHO you know
It’s all about how you FEEL.
You would do well to grab yourself a copy of this. Let me know if you’ve read it and what you think below.
