How to Deal with Rejection and Disappointment at Work

SWSWSWSW

We all have to deal with both rejection and disappointment. And it can be hard. It really can.

But it’s also a part of life. A part of development and advancing. Be that at work, in relationships, business – wherever.

In order not to get rejected you have to not go for anythingever!

And while I know a few ways to deal with rejection, this one I heard recently I really liked.

It came from the audio (and print version too I imagine) of Jack Canfield’s book – The Success Principles. And it’s this.

SW SW SW SW

So, what does that mean?

Some will

Some won’t

So what

Someone’s waiting

Some people will be interested in your product, service, idea, love, affection, support (or whatever it is you are offering), some won’t. That’s life. You can’t be everything (or anything sometimes) to everyone. So what, it’s a big old world and out there, someone else is waiting.

So, just remember that at the next rejection. Maybe you’ve been passed over for promotion – yet again. Well, maybe you weren’t right for it this time, or maybe you’ll be right for someone else’s team, company or organisation. Maybe that girl you went up to wasn’t interested, well, there are millions of others out there. That prospect wasn’t interested in your proposal. So what, it’s just another step closer to the person that will buy.

The more you put yourself out there (and by you – I also mean ‘me’) the more likely the person that’s waiting for you will be in your audience.

So go out there and remember:

Some will

Some won’t

So what

Someone’s waiting
